Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Commitment to continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient transfers with proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered care and education to patients, families, and staff.
• Develop and adjust care plans with goals, treatments, outcomes, and discharge plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
