Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a collaborative rehab setting in North Dakota. You will design and implement plans of care, monitor outcomes, and discharge planning while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) – IDFPR
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – American Heart Association
• Continuing education related to acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistance and maintains safe body mechanics.
• Delivers compassionate, respectful patient care and engages with patients and families.
• Develops and adjusts plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge planning.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes; selects appropriate examination methods.
• Produces documentation per regulatory policies and department standards; uses supervision appropriately.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team and provides supervision to PTA and rehab technicians.
