Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (IDFPR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Complete continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with safe body mechanics.
• Treats and educates patients, families, and staff with empathy.
• Designs and adjusts plans of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Educates patients and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Documents in accordance with CTSCP67 policy.
• Screens patients to determine therapy needs and effectiveness.
• Supervises support personnel and provides feedback.
