Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) per IDFPR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days per AHA.
• Continuing education in acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transfers using safe body mechanics.
• Treat and educate patients, families, and staff with empathy and respect.
• Design and adjust care plans based on patient response and evidence.
• Educate patients and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Conduct examinations with reliable assessment methods.
• Document according to CTSCP67 and regulatory standards.
• Supervise PTA and rehab technicians where applicable.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with the medical team.
