Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field.
• 5+ years hands-on NGS lab experience.
• Strong expertise in library preparation (WGS, RNA-seq, panels).
• Experience in workflow optimization and assay development.
• Familiarity with Illumina, PacBio, Oxford Nanopore platforms.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new NGS service offerings including workflow design, validation, and implementation.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot library prep protocols across platforms.
• Execute daily NGS lab operations with high-quality outputs.
• Evaluate and improve workflows for efficiency, scalability, and turnaround.
• Collaborate with bioinformatics, operations, and quality teams.
• Document SOPs, validation reports, and process updates to quality standards.
• Train and mentor lab staff on new workflows and best practices.
