Job summary

Alltrna is seeking a scientist to support the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) core within the Molecular Biology team. The role involves executing RNA-based NGS experiments, including library preparation, sequencing, quality control, and documentation.

You will operate automation platforms (KingFisher, Mantis, Biomek), evaluate QC metrics, troubleshoot deviations, maintain SOPs, and collaborate across teams to ensure sample and data integrity.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in biology, molecular biology, or related field.
• 2+ years RA II or 4+ years Senior RA of relevant experience.
• hands-on NGS experience including RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and Illumina library prep.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate automation platforms (KingFisher, Mantis, Biomek).
• Evaluate QC metrics.
• Troubleshoot deviations.
• Maintain SOPs.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure sample and data integrity.
