SeqMatic LLC, a San Francisco Bay Area based NGS and omics provider, is seeking a detail-oriented Scientist to support and expand our NGS operations, with emphasis on library preparation. This role will onboard new services, develop workflows, and support day-to-day laboratory activities.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, technically strong in NGS methods, and dedicated to driving process improvements in a fast-paced lab, collaborating with bioinformatics, operations, and quality
Qualificações
- Master’s or Doctorate in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related field.
Responsabilidades
- Lead onboarding of new NGS services, including workflow design and validation.
- Develop and optimize library prep protocols across platforms.
- Execute daily NGS lab operations ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Evaluate and improve workflows for efficiency and turnaround.
- Collaborate with bioinformatics, operations, and quality teams.
- Document SOPs, validation reports, and process updates.
- Train and mentor staff on new workflows and best practices.
