Job summary

S. A. Comunale Co., Inc. seeks a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems. The role involves travel to customer sites, working from lifts at heights, and ensuring compliance with NFPA guidelines.

Ideal candidates will hold NICET LV1, a backflow license, and NFPA 25/72 inspection experience, with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain NICET certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• NICET LV1 (ITWBS) certification required.
• Backflow license required; sprinkler inspector with 3+ years experience.
• NFPA 25-based inspections on wet/dry/deluge/pre-action/pumps.
• NFPA 72-based inspections on fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and alarms.
• Inspect from man lifts at elevations up to 30–40 feet when needed.
• Perform annual domestic and fire back flow inspections.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Submit accurate work tickets and inspection reports promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections.
