Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based systems and fire alarms. The role requires travel to customer sites and thorough documentation of findings.

The ideal candidate will hold NICET LV1 (ITWBS) and a backflow license, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of NFPA codes governing fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• NICET LV1 (ITWBS) minimum.
• Backflow license highly preferred; 3+ years experience.
• NFPA 25 inspections on various systems.
• NFPA 72 inspections on fire alarm systems; basic knowledge helpful.
• Strong driving record and valid license; able to obtain NICET certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems.
• Conduct inspections from man lifts at elevations up to 40 feet.
• Monitor progress and complete inspection tickets and reports
• Self-schedule daily inspections and coordinate with owners/service managers
• Travel to customer sites as required
