S. A. Comunale is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector. The role involves NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems with travel to customer sites. You will work in a fast-paced field environment focusing on customer development, quality work, and NFPA compliance.

This position requires NICET LV1 (ITWBS) minimum, a backflow license, and NFPA 25/72 inspection experience. A high school diploma is required. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• NICET LV1 (ITWBS) minimum.
• Backflow sprinkler license – minimum 3 years' experience.
• NFPA 25-based inspections on wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, and fire pumps.
• NFPA 25-based inspections on standpipe systems and fire hydrants.
• NFPA 72-based inspections on fire alarm systems; includes all components.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Knowledge of wet/dry/foam/deluge/pre-action/standpipe systems and hydrants.
• NICET and backflow licenses are pluses; ability to obtain NICET.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarms.
• Conduct inspections from man lifts at heights of 30–40 feet as needed.
• Perform annual inspections on domestic and fire back flows.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Submit inspection reports and tickets to admin staff promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections.
