S.A. Comunale is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems. The role involves travel to customer sites, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with NFPA guidelines.

Essential duties include troubleshooting, inspections from elevated platforms, annual backflow checks, and timely reporting. A NICET LV1 license and relevant experience are required, with NICET II and backflow licensing as pluses.

Qualifications

• NICET LV 1 (ITWBS) certification or license.
• 3+ years' experience as sprinkler inspector.
• NFPA 25 inspections for wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, and fire pumps.
• NFPA 72 inspections for fire alarm systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training is a plus.
• Knowledge of fire protection system operation and components.
• NICET Level II in water-based or fire alarm systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Inspect water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems per NFPA guidelines.
• Perform inspections from man lifts at elevations 30–40 feet when needed.
• Conduct annual backflow inspections for domestic and fire systems.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks and reports.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and submit tickets/reports promptly.
