Job summary

S.A. Comunale seeks a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based and fire alarm systems across multiple sites in the region.

The role requires NICET certification, a backflow license, and the ability to travel to customer sites; it also calls for basic mechanical skills and a clean driving record, with safety as a priority. You will climb lifts to inspect sites, document findings, and promptly submit reports while adhering to NFPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• NICET LV 1 (ITWBS) minimum.
• Backflow license required; minimum 3 years?experience as sprinkler inspector.
• NFPA 25 inspections on wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, and fire pumps.
• NFPA 25 inspections on standpipe systems and fire hydrants.
• NFPA 72 inspections on fire alarm systems and components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• NICET II in water-based or fire alarm systems a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills; ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections from man lifts at elevations of 30 to 40 feet.
• Perform annual NFPA 25 inspections on water-based systems and back flows.
• Monitor and assure progress and completion of tasks.
• Submit all work tickets and inspection reports promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections.
