Job summary

S. A. Comunale is hiring a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarms.

Travel to customer sites is required, with inspections conducted from lifts 30–40 feet high. You will inspect back flows, document outcomes, and ensure timely reports and tickets are completed by the team. Requirements include NICET LV 1 (ITWBS), backflow license, NFPA 25/72 experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• NICET LV 1 (ITWBS) required; NICET II is a plus.
• Backflow license and NFPA 25/72 inspections experience.
• High school diploma or GED; mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Ability to travel to customer sites; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarms.
• Inspect from man lifts at elevations of 30 to 40 feet as required.
• Conduct annual inspections on domestic and fire back flows.
• Monitor progress and complete all tickets and reports timely.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and coordinate with customers.
