S. A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarms across multiple sites, with travel to customer locations as needed.

The role requires NICET certification or equivalent, a backflow license, and 3+ years of sprinkler inspection experience. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and the ability to work at heights are essential.

Qualifications

• NICET LV1 ITWBS certification required or minimum.
• Backflow license; sprinkler inspector with relevant NFPA experience.
• Proficiency with NFPA 25/72 inspection standards.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarms.
• Perform inspections from man lifts at 30–40 ft elevations as needed.
• Complete annual inspections of backflow devices, hydrants, and related components.
• Ensure timely progress updates and submission of tickets and reports.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and communicate findings to customers.
