Job summary

Gateway Church's NextGen Coordinator (Temporary Support) runs the administrative and logistical engine of NextGen — kids and youth — at the campus. This temporary role will cover a planned leave of absence and serve as the first contact for parents and students.

Responsibilities include coordinating weekly activities, managing calendars, stewarding volunteers, processing purchases and invoices, maintaining records, and supporting weekend services.

Qualifications

• A clear passion for Jesus and strong biblical foundation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to hold many moving parts at once.
• Proven ability to recruit, schedule, and retain volunteers.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on administrative processes.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Able to manage priorities in a weekend-driven rhythm.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates week-to-week execution of NextGen at the campus.
• Builds and stewards the Serve Team: recruiting, scheduling, training, retention.
• Owns ministry scheduling and calendar, including services and events.
• Handles administrative processes: purchases, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Maintains ministry records in the church database: attendance, registrations.
• Orders and maintains supplies and materials the ministry needs.
• Supports check-in and guest experience for kids and youth.
