Job summary

Gateway Church is seeking a NextGen Worship Lead (Support) for a campus-based, part-time permanent role. The position involves facilitating worship across Kids, Youth, and Young Adult environments, training leaders, planning events, and leading worship with support from the Regional Next Gen Associate Worship Pastor.

The role emphasizes recruiting and developing Serve Team members, coordinating with campus leadership, and aligning with central standards while executing locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year worship leading experience preferred.
• Experience leading kids or student worship preferred.
• Multisite church environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Builds and steward NextGen worship Serve Team at the campus: recruit, train, schedule, retain, appreciate.
• Executes set lists, Ableton/Playback sessions, and service plans provided by Next Gen Worship.
• Develops young worship leaders and musicians at the campus.
• Runs rehearsals and pre-service preparation for NextGen environments at the campus.
• Partners with Campus Worship Pastor and campus NextGen leadership on platform and scheduling.
• Raises local realities and needs to Regional NextGen Associate Worship Pastor.
• Supports campus NextGen events, camps, and team nights.
• Is present at weekend services and churchwide events as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
