Job summary

AMD is seeking a hardware design verification intern/co-op in the United States (hybrid/onsite). You will join the AI-oriented hardware team, contributing to verification plans, test development, and regression tasks for high-end AMD products.

Located in Fishkill, NY or surrounding sites, you will work with senior engineers to learn and apply verification skills across software and hardware interfaces. This full-time internship/coop runs per university terms, offering hands-on experience,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a United States university pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
• Interest in hardware design verification and intern/co-op experience welcome
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to develop and complete performance verification plans and test cases
• Write scripts to track compute resources using Python/Perl
• Use Perl/Python/MySQL/PHP for test regression support
• Review tools and processes to improve simulation performance and efficiency
• Assist in debugging, improving test cases/models and Verilog/system Verilog coding
• Build test platforms and perform system-level testing
• Contribute to production validation of hardware and software functionalities
