Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in SOC emulation and verification.
• Experience with Cadence Palladium or Mentor Veloce.
• Emulation bring-up, environment setup and performance optimization.
• HDL: Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
• C/C++ programming and scripting: Python, Tcl, and/or Perl.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Bare metal firmware development experience.
• Comfort with AI-generated artifacts review.

Responsibilities

• Build and bring-up emulation models for complex SOC designs.
• Develop and maintain emulation environments and methodologies.
• Debug hardware issues using emulation platforms.
• Develop and maintain C++-based emulation testbench framework.
• Create and execute verification test plans.
• Interface with RTL, verification and silicon validation engineers.
• Enable and partner with software team on bring-up and root-cause bugs.
• Optimize emulation performance and resource use.
• Document processes, methodologies, and specs.
