Job summary

Amazon’s Devices team designs consumer electronics, including Kindle, Fire TV, Echo, and the Astro robot. We seek an Emulation Engineer to define emulation bring-up environments for ASIC and system-level emulation, and to assist IP bring-up with scripts, test benches, and validation.

You will collaborate with RTL, verification, silicon validation, product design, audio, computer vision, and software teams to build scalable emulation solutions, optimize performance, and document methodologies for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE or related field.
• 10+ years of SOC emulation and validation experience.
• Strong expertise with industry-standard emulation platforms.
• Delivers emulation bring-up, environment setup, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and bring-up emulation models for complex SOC designs.
• Develop and maintain emulation environments and methodologies.
• Debug complex hardware issues using emulation platforms.
• Develop and maintain C++ based emulation testbench framework.
• Create and execute verification test plans.
• Interface with RTL, verification and silicon validation engineers.
• Enable software bring-up and root-cause debugging.
• Optimize emulation performance and resource usage.
• Document processes, methodologies, and technical specifications.
