Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Emulation Engineer in Austin, TX to define the emulation bring-up environment for ASIC and system-level emulation of next-gen modems. You will develop bare-metal code, C++-based testbenches, and verification plans, collaborating with RTL, silicon validation, and software teams.

You should have a BS in EE/CS, 10+ years in SOC emulation, experience with Cadence Palladium or Mentor Veloce, Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL, and strong debugging skills.

Qualifications

• BS in EE/CS/CE with emphasis on hardware emulation or verification.
• Experience with SOC emulation, bring-up, and validation.
• Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL and C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Build and bring-up emulation models for complex SOC designs.
• Develop and maintain emulation environments and methodologies.
• Debug complex hardware issues using emulation platforms.
• Develop and maintain C++ based emulation testbench framework.
• Create and execute verification test plans.
