Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. is seeking a Newscast Director for morning shifts (4am–1pm) in an on-site role. Responsibilities include directing and TD of newscasts, maintaining studio and control room, floor managing, robotic camera operation, and teleprompter duties.

Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed for fill-ins, with a base hourly rate of $17.79–$18.89. The position emphasizes producing under pressure with clear crew direction and requires knowledge of production standards and equipment.

WSET is looking for a Newscast Director.

Responsibilities

• Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and special productions using Ross Overdrive
• Maintain studio and control room
• Studio floor manager
• Operation of robotic cameras
• Teleprompter operator
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned
• This is a morning shift, Monday through Friday 4am - 1pm. But you must also be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed for fill in

Requirements

• Experience directing newscasts

• Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
• Must be able to lift & position equipment of up to 40 pounds

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.79 to $18.89 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
