Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based newborn hearing screens and educate families about early intervention. You will work on-site at hospital locations, following safety protocols and achieving reliable screen results.

On-the-job training and annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology are provided to help you excel in this vital development milestone for babies. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry for each screen.
