Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to conduct hearing screens in hospital settings and educate families on early intervention.

You will perform screens when babies are calm, collect data, ensure documentation, and coordinate with site staff. On-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification support career growth in neonatal care.

Qualifications

• Education and CPR required or offered on offer.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on screening relevance and early intervention.
• Ensure data collection and documentation per protocol.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and supervisors as needed.
• Schedule follow-up outpatient appointments for refer babies.
