Job summary

Hearing Screening Associates seeks a part-time Newborn Hearing Screening Technician to join the Birth Place Hospital NICU team in Olathe, KS. You will perform screening tests on newborns, educate parents, and document results, supporting early detection and intervention.

The role offers 6–10 hours weekly, 2–3 weekday shifts, and a $17.50/hour base pay plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential, with comprehensive training and a supportive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year or more healthcare or childcare experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screenings in NICU/well-baby units prior to discharge.
• Communicate relevance of screening to parents and care teams.
• Maintain screening equipment and assist with data entry and records.
