Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based newborn hearing screens and educate families on the importance of early intervention. On-site at hospital locations, you will complete documentation, ensure screen readiness, and participate in ongoing training and certification.

This entry-level role requires flexibility for weekends/holidays, physical ability to lift, and strong communication skills to support families during a critical development

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or offered upon hire.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens for newborns at hospital sites.
• Educate parents on the importance of newborn hearing screening.
• Collect patient data and ensure accurate documentation and data entry.
• Upload screen results and reports by end of each shift; maintain compliance.
