Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based screening for newborns. The role includes on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification to ensure accurate screening and timely intervention.

You will screen babies, educate parents, maintain complete documentation, and coordinate referrals as needed. This is an on-site position requiring flexibility for shift timings and travel between hospital locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain upon offer.
• Availability on weekends and national holidays required.
• Entry level with 1-3 months experience with newborns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and results.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation for each baby.
• Upload screen results and coordinate referrals when needed.
• Follow PPE, vaccination, and compliance protocols.
