Job summary
Bon Secours St Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hearing screens and educate families on the importance of early intervention. The HST ensures patient readiness, collects demographics, conducts screens, and documents results and billing.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.
Responsibilities
- Perform hearing screens and educate parents on the relevance of screening and early intervention.
- Evaluate patient readiness for screening to ensure reliable results.
- Collect data and demographics for each baby; document and bill screening data.
- Upload screen results and state reporting by end of each shift; reconcile statistics.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care to families.
