The role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and weekend availability; on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification are provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on screening importance.
• Ensure patient readiness and provide accurate data for each baby.
• Document all screens and upload results and billing per shift.
• Maintain quality and patient education while minimizing time in the room.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer babies and arrange follow-up appointments.
