You will build trusted relationships with local officials, community groups, and development partners across New York State, guiding outreach from site selection through construction and long-term operations.

You will translate complex infrastructure plans into plain language, surface concerns early, and help write scalable processes for future markets.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, or closely related field.
• Direct experience engaging with local governments and diverse stakeholders on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong relationship builder with trust across a broad set of stakeholders.
• Ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls and hearings.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate complex plans into plain language.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements across different markets independently.

• Build and maintain relationships with officials, community groups, labor, and development partners in NY data center markets.
• Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each market from site selection to operations.
• Build coalitions, host listening sessions, and design local solutions delivering real community benefits.
• Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, hearings, events, and local media.
• Monitor sentiment and advise teams on risks, opportunities, and engagement pace.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy, and Communications teams to integrate community input.
