Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is hiring an Operations Manager to lead a brand-new store opening in Byron Center, Michigan, and oversee daily operations, inventory, and guest experience.

You will manage promotions, onboarding, and district coverage while upholding Buckle’s policies and values. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related retail experience, plus a flexible schedule and leadership skills to drive a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related retail experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and maintain daily discipline for efficient service.
• Lead onboarding, interviews, and teammate development across the district.
• Manage promotions, markdowns, and signage to ensure brand standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct year-end counts.
• Support loss prevention and security procedures to protect assets.
• Provide exceptional guest service and resolve inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Organize fixtures, maintain visual standards, and ensure a neat store appearance.
• Travel to cover other stores within the district as needed.
