Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for a brand new store at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Byron Center, Michigan. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience while leading a team, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will be responsible for onboarding new teammates, coordinating with management on staffing, and maintaining visual standards and proper POS usage. A strong emphasis on customer service and loss-prevention will be essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months of related retail experience or training acceptable.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with POS and store operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations to fulfill Buckle's mission of creating an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Lead onboarding, interviews, and training of teammates.
• Manage promotions, pricing, layaways, and returns procedures.
• Monitor inventory, shipments, and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and loss-prevention practices.
• Coordinate with store management on staffing and scheduling.
