Job summary

You will qualify leads, prepare quotes, coordinate with the service team, and work toward sales targets, with earnings consisting of base pay and commissions.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our fire protection offerings.
• Qualify buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales calls and activities.
• Submit sales reports and forecasts in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop account sales strategies.
• Close sales to meet assigned goals.
• Maintain quotes in Service Trade Software Platform.
• Coordinate with Service Department to schedule work after sale.

What You’ll Do

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our full offerings of fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our full fire and life safety service offering.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales calls and related activities.
• Submit all sales reports (forecasts), and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
• Close sufficient sales to an assigned sales goal.
• Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
• Coordinate with our Service Department for work that needs to be scheduled once sold.

Our New Service Sellers earn between $67,000 - $130,000+, which is a combination of base salary and sales commissions. Exceeding sales goals can have a huge impact on total earnings! The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position at the time of posting and is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location (where applicable), and market considerations. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted range. The posted range reflects base salary only and does not include any applicable bonuses, commissions, overtime, or the value of employee benefits.
