Job summary

The Hiller Companies in Birmingham, AL is seeking a New Service Seller to drive new business and service contracts in fire protection and safety. You will survey, quote, and sell our full range of products, systems, and services to new and existing customers.

You will qualify buyers, schedule calls, educate on offerings, and maintain thorough records. Success comes with meeting sales goals and coordinating with the service department to schedule work.

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our full offerings of fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our full fire and life safety service offering.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales calls and related activities.
• Submit all sales reports (forecasts), and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
• Close sufficient sales to an assigned sales goal.
• Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
• Coordinate with our Service Department for work that needs to be scheduled once sold.
