Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production line setup, process validation, root cause analysis, and yield improvement as part of the manufacturing process development team.

You will lead transfers from product development to mass production, coordinate site transfers, ensure equipment installation and qualification, and collaborate with R&D, quality, materials, and logistics to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product transfer, NPI, or production ramp-up.
  • Experience supporting production line setup or manufacturing process implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new product transfer activities to mass production.
  • Coordinate transfer of products and manufacturing processes between development sites and production facilities.
  • Support planning and implementation of new production lines.
  • Act as the technical interface between product development and manufacturing teams during product transfer.
  • Identify manufacturing and product issues during production ramp-up and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure production documentation is properly transferred and implemented.

About the role

This position will work on the team and help with the manufacturing process development to include production line set-up, process validation, root cause analysis and yield improvement.

Key responsibilities
Production Transfer
  • Lead new product transfer activities to mass production.
  • Ensure smooth transition from pilot builds to stable manufacturing operations.
  • Validate manufacturing processes to support full-scale production.
Site Transfer Coordination
  • Support transfer of products and manufacturing processes between development sites and production facilities.
  • Coordinate transfer of process documentation, tooling, fixtures, and test equipment.
  • Ensure manufacturing capability and quality performance are consistent across sites.
Production Line Setup
  • Support planning and implementation of new production lines.
  • Coordinate defining production line layout, workstation configuration, and material flow.
  • Coordinate installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and test stations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production, Material, and Logistic.
  • Act as the technical interface between product development and manufacturing teams during product transfer.
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify manufacturing and product issues during production ramp-up.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance.

  • Ensure production documentation is properly transferred and implemented, including:
Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product transfer, NPI, or production ramp-up.
  • Experience supporting production line setup or manufacturing process implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

The base salary range for this full-time position Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs.
