Job summary

Redefine Healthcare in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a full-time New Patient Coordinator to oversee new patient registration, verify insurance, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

The role requires 2–3 years in healthcare intake, experience with EHR/EMR, strong communication, and attention to detail; benefits include PTO, health and 401(k) with match. 40 hours per week, $20–$22/hour, full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in healthcare registration, patient intake, or medical office coordination.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems required.
• Good judgement, organization, initiative, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all new patient registration processes.
• Verify insurance information and benefits; ensure accurate data collection.
• Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for every new patient.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform clerical duties.
• Enter information into EMR and coordinate with attorneys and nurse case managers.
• Cross-train as a Medical Receptionist and participate in efficiency projects.
