Job summary

The Banner Health New Nurse Experience is a full-time RN position in Mesa, AZ that helps new graduates become competent, professional nurses. It provides a collaborative learning environment with a preceptor, access to the Banner Simulation Center, and hands-on skill assessment.

The program includes Med/Surg, Progressive Care, and Oncology academies, plus Cerner EHR training. It offers the Banner Total Rewards package, health insurance, PTO, 401K, and a night shift differential for eligible

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; ADN may be considered at select locations.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience; previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team.
• Document patient data and care in the medical record.
• Provide discharge planning and patient teaching.
• Mentor and precept new nurses when appropriate.
