Job summary

Hakes Brothers is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities in a fast-paced home-building environment in El Paso, TX. You will oversee all phases from pre-construction to client handover, ensuring schedule adherence and quality.

The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong focus on safety, customer service, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of relevant construction experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities through to the New Home Orientation (NHO).
• Update the Construction Schedule daily and schedule all trade contractors.
• Perform and complete Pre-Construction Orientation (PCO), Pre-Slab Inspection (PSI), Pre-Drywall Inspection (PDI), Pre-Drywall Orientation (PDO), Quality Assurance Inspection (QAI), and NHO; follow up on closing day.
• Conduct the 30-day follow up after closing and address warranty items in the first 30 days.
• Rotate answering and responding to the emergency phone as directed by management.
• Communicate regularly with buyers to meet target dates and milestones.
