Job summary

Hakes Brothers is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field operations and ensure timely completion of new homes. You will supervise construction through NHO, manage trade contractors, and keep daily schedules on track while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate pre-construction activities, inspections, and warranty follow-ups, with a focus on customer satisfaction and adherence to safety programs. A vehicle is required for daily site visits and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least two years' relevant experience
• Must own or have access to a vehicle for daily work
• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and/or movement

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities through to the New Home Orientation (NHO).
• Update the Construction Schedule daily and schedule all trade contractors.
• Perform and complete Pre-Construction Orientation (PCO), Pre-Slab Inspection (PSI), Pre-Drywall Inspection (PDI), Pre-Drywall Orientation (PDO), Quality Assurance Inspection (QAI), NHO, and follow up on closing day.
• Perform the 30-day follow up 30 days after closing and any warranty items in the first 30 days after closing.
• Rotate answering and responding to the Emergency phone per management.
• Ensure target dates are met and communicate with buyers.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality; ensure trade partners follow safety rules.
