Job summary

Hakes Brothers in Basehor, KS is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all construction activities through to the New Home Orientation. You will update schedules daily, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and cleanliness across sites.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to on-time milestones while delivering high-quality homes and excellent buyer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant construction management experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities through to the New Home Orientation (NHO).
• Update the Construction Schedule daily and coordinate trade contractors.
• Complete PCO, PSI, PDI, PDO, QAI, NHO, and post-closing follow-ups.
• Address 30-day post-closing warranty items during the first 30 days.
• Reply to emergency calls as needed and keep buyers informed.
• Ensure site cleanliness and safety per Hakes Brothers program.
