Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades in Houston, TX is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate and support new-hire onboarding for our temporary tradespeople. This full-time internal position offers steady hours and onsite work.

You will manage paperwork, background checks, data collection, scheduling with HR and recruiters, and serve as the main contact for new employees. Salary ranges $50,000–$55,000 with ~ $2,000 monthly incentives; schedule Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility to work extended

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including paperwork, background checks, data collection, and status monitoring.
• Enter data accurately across multiple systems to support onboarding volume.
• Serve as the main point of contact for new employees and guide them through the process.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers.

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking anOnboarding Specialistto play a key role in supporting and coordinating new-hire onboarding activities for our temporary tradespeople, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience. Bring your prior experience in new-hire onboarding to our fast-paced and high-volume staffing environment!

• Fulltime, Internal Position:Onboarding Specialist
• Location:Onsite - Houston, TX
• Salary:$50,000-55,000/yr
• Bonus:~$2,000 in monthly incentives
• Schedule:Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility to work extended hours during peak times)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including new hire paperwork, background check/screening, data and document collection and submission, and monitoring the status of each step.
• Utilization of various software and programs in order to complete a high-volume of data entry.
• Serve as the go-to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Work closely with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced staffing or high-volume environment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you perform proactively and with urgency.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, onboarding platforms, and compliance requirements (Avionte' and Fieldglass a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during busy/peak times.
