Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate and streamline new-hire onboarding for our temporary tradespeople in Austin, TX. This internal, full-time role requires managing paperwork, background checks, data collection, and status tracking to ensure a compliant, seamless experience.

You will work closely with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers, serve as the point of contact for new employees, and navigate HR systems such as Avionte and Fieldglass.

Qualifications

• Prior onboarding experience in a fast-paced staffing or high-volume environment.
• Ability to perform proactively with urgency in a dynamic setting.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems and onboarding platforms (Avionte and Fieldglass a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including paperwork, background checks, data collection, and status monitoring.
• Enter data efficiently using multiple software programs to support a high-volume workflow.
• Serve as primary contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers.

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking anOnboarding Specialistto play a key role in supporting and coordinating new-hire onboarding activities for our temporary tradespeople, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience. Bring your prior experience in new-hire onboarding to our fast-paced and high-volume staffing environment!

• Fulltime, Internal Position:Onboarding Specialist
• Location:Onsite - Austin, TX
• Salary:$50,000-55,000/yr
• Bonus:~$2,000 in monthly incentives
• Schedule:Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility to work extended hours during peak times)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including new hire paperwork, background check/screening, data and document collection and submission, and monitoring the status of each step.
• Utilization of various software and programs in order to complete a high-volume of data entry.
• Serve as the go-to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Work closely with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced staffing or high-volume environment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you perform proactively and with urgency.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, onboarding platforms, and compliance requirements (Avionte’ and Fieldglass a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
