Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an enthusiastic Skilled Trades/Construction Recruiter to join our Austin team. You will source, interview, and identify skilled trades talent for multiple accounts, driving candidates through the interview process with urgency.

Role requires strong sourcing skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment. 40+ hours/week with occasional evenings and weekends, excellent benefits, and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing.

• Partner with account managers to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
• Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience.
• Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements.

Job description

Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking an enthusiastic Skilled Trades/Construction Recruiter to join our Austin team! You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and identifying skilled trades talent for multiple accounts. We’re looking for someone who is an incredibly strong sourcer, one who can identify top talent quickly, and move potential candidates through the interview process with urgency. Someone who has excellent communication and organizational skills, can stay on top of important details in an extremely fast-paced role, and one who can adjust to new demands and direction throughout the work week.

• Location: Austin, TX
• Salary Range: $50,000-65,000/yr DOE
• Incentive: $2,500-$3,500 in monthly incentives/bonus
• Hours: 40+ hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
• Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years recruiting skilled trades / construction roles
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of important details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working program/MSP accounts through VMS platforms a plus
• Experience using Aviante and/or Fieldglass a plus
• Proven ability to work well under pressure, addressing regular high-demand requests and needs quickly
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines
