Job summary

Banner Health's New Nurse Experience is a full-time Registered Nurse position that assists you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health. This program provides a collaborative learning environment in which you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and develop new personal and professional relationships.

Successful candidates will be placed in specific units at Banner Health facilities to be clinically mentored by unit staff

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN is preferred - open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS card (American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care according to policies and standards.
• Collaborates with unit staff and educators to mentor new grads and develop professional relationships.
