Job summary

Banner Health is hiring a RN New Graduate for the Surgical Unit in Casper, WY. This full-time program supports a transition from new graduate to a competent nurse with mentored clinical experiences in a dedicated unit.

New grads will work three 12-hour night shifts, with weekend/holiday rotations and a $10,000 hire-on bonus plus relocation assistance. The program includes precepted clinical experiences, simulation, and comprehensive training to prepare for autonomous practice.

Qualifications

• Recent or Upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS card through AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychological, social and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care with the health team and patient/family.
• Implement the plan through direct patient care and supervision of staff.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify the plan as needed.
• Document assessments, plans and outcomes in the patient record.
