Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, WY. This Med/Surg unit role is a night shift (6:00 pm – 6:30 am) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

The team delivers patient-centered care across a busy Med/Surg service line in a close-knit community. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care for varied patient populations, collaborating with physicians and the health care team to meet care goals

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Relates experience and education to perform nursing duties.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide/coordinate nursing care per policies.
• Develop and revise care plans and discharge planning in collaboration with care team.
• Document care activities accurately and timely in patient records.
• Supervise and mentor licensed staff and other personnel as needed.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other health care professionals to ensure quality care.
