Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) offers a New Graduate RN Residency in March 2027 for newly licensed nurses. The program focuses on transitioning to practice with a structured orientation, supervision, and a two-year unit commitment after training.

Nurses enter the Step Down IMCU and complete the 4-month transition before assuming a full assignment. Applicants must be within 12 months of nursing school graduation and hold MA RN licensure with active BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Active BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Registration and current RN licensure in MA in good standing preferred prior to start/date

Responsibilities

• Nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation and coordination of care.
• Report to Unit Nurse Director and support care on IMCU Step Down unit.
