Boston Medical Center (BMC) invites newly licensed nurses to join its New Graduate RN Residency in the Surgical Step Down (IMCU) department. The program supports transition to practice, cohorts, and a four-month orientation followed by a two-year unit commitment on the step-down unit.

Applicants should have an RN license in MA in good standing (preferred), with active BLS/CPR and flu vaccination required before start. March 2027 start date.

Qualifikationen

• New graduate nurses must be within twelve (12) months of graduation at date of hire.
• Active BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Flu vaccination required prior to start.
• Registration and current RN licensure in MA in good standing preferred prior to start date.

Aufgaben

• Nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation and coordination of care for patients and their families.
• Accountable for clinical, educational, quality and fiscal patient care outcomes following established policies and standards.
• Report to Unit Nurse Director and work within the nursing department care model.
