Job summary

Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming, is offering a full-time RN New Graduate Residency position in the Med-Surg unit. The program provides ANCC-accredited transition to clinical practice, mentorship, and structured orientation.

New grads will participate in day and night shifts with weekend requirements and a 12-month mentorship on their assigned unit. Required: recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN license (or compact licensure).

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• No More than 12 months of RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; BSN preferred; ADN acceptable at select locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental needs and discharge planning.
• Formulate and update plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise other staff as needed.
• Document care and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
