Job summary

UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital offers a 12‑month Nurse Residency for new graduates with less than 12 months of RN experience. The program provides classroom sessions, ongoing clinical growth, and milestones with unit leadership support.

Participants will complete a group evidence-based practice project, attend continuing education sessions, and receive wrap-around support to transition from student to competent professional.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with RN license in NC by start of clinical care.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent clinical nursing care in hospital setting.
• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process.
