Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the start of clinical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs; attends education programs.
- Evaluates care outcomes and documents plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrates competence in care for patients with complex problems and safety considerations.
- Contributes to unit goals and performance improvement; promotes effective communication.
- Assesses patient and family learning needs and plans discharge readiness.
